Ummmm how to i get the editor? Like Emergency 4 (v1.3) Editor
Or scanario editer

Click on the start menu. Click all programs and scroll down to sixteen tons entertainment OR Wizard Works. Click that and then click Emergency 4 and the Emergency 4 editor.

Thanks my start menus clogged up and full so idk where plus i got loads of files like config and data on my desktop and its not there

First of all, We are all busy people, when you post a request for help, give it a day, before deciding to bump the topic... I merged two posts, and deleted two others, as there was no need for triple posting all within 20 minutes..

To start the editor, you can make a shortcut to the normal game exe. Then you can add -editor to the end of the target line.. Mine for emergency 4 Deluxe looks like this:

"C:\installs\Emergency 4 Deluxe\Em4Deluxe.exe" -editor
and for 911:fr

"C:\Installs\911 - First Responders\EM4.exe" -editor

This won't be the same location as yours, but it's pretty close, plus this way you can have a shortcut on your desktop so it's easier to access..

PS. If you can't find the start menu folder for your game, then I'd suggest removing a few programs, or not putting them all in the start menu.

If the game itself is not installed in C: then check the other drives where you could've installed it.. We are trying to help, yelling and getting mad at us will only leave you without any help, as people won't bother to try to help you.

No that's the shortcut to the EM4.exe file. I mean the actual EM4.exe file in the Emergency 4 folder.

Then there should be a folder called Emergency 4 on your desktop, correct?

Theres ModInstaller em4 Em4 (Notice change in caps diffrent icons) Play Emergency 4 some config files Data Mods Logfile and thats it

since this is about the editor (i think and hope) my editor will load up my new made map but then completly close out after about a min. is there anything i can do or do i have to start over yet again?

the editor usually does this when you start a new map. it will usually crash after a few minutes, so remember to save. dont forget there is an autosave and your work wont be lost! and it shouldnt happen after the first time

thanks for the info. that means start all over. o well, just another hiccup, live and learn. but i still want to know why mine does it. and it only does it with my map, thats bull. stupid computer.
