hey hoppah, i just wanted to say i love the mod, and with out it probably wouldnt be playing the game in general. i cant wait for the v1.9 to come out..

Conversation between a FDNY Firefighter and unknown video photographer right after both towers fell and the firefighter is at his truck getting his gear:
Photographer: Did you already go in?
Firefighter: What?
Photographer: Did you go in?
Firefighter: I was there, yea.
Photographer: Are you going back?
Firefighter: Its my Job....
Firefighter then collects his gear and begins walking back toward the towers.....
Photographer: Good Luck.

Wow, awsome, what is that frightliner truck supposed to be, an ambulance that can transport multiple patients, like 2 ha ? I reallly like the look of it. Oh and is there a way we can send that new amulance to the station??

Voodoo_Operator wanted to add a generec fire- and police department to his mod and already made that ambulance.


Will there be any way for me to pick and choose which units I want installed once I download the submod?


Because there are some files that are shared by all vehicles (freeplaybase.xml for example) I can do that only partly. You can choose which vehicles will be playable, but the installer will install all vehicles and leave the vehicles you don't want disabled.

Probably not. That ambulance bigger than any of the LA Mod ambulances and the size of it will cause problems with the available space in the fire station(s).

will ATF be able to defuse bombs?

So, what is it the fire fighters do? Do they wait a block away before going to the station to get the truck? Nope. 10 or 12 guys go into the Station, put their gear on, and 6 of them jump in the Pump. The rest, they stay in the building in case they need the Rescue. So, Pump 1 responds from 119 Bertie St to 119 Bertie St, but, they have to follow protocol. So, they drive around they block, and stage at the corner, waiting for police to clear the building they just left.

No. For now, the submod will only offer new vehicles and persons, nothing that impressive besides good models.

Well I would think it would be possible in either station, you would just have to alter the model of the fire station bay to allow it to fit. Then alter the gates to the height of the adjusted openings.

GCFD I think, Generic City Fire Department.
The Ford Excursion won't be in the submod. Voodoo_Operator doesn't like the model, so we decided not to add it. The white unmarked van which can be found in the old Federal Units topic won't be added as well.
