The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a branch of the United States Armed Forces

The US Coast Guard used to be part of the Transportation Department, during war time the USCG, when activated in the correct capacity falls under the Department of Defense. After 9-11 in 2001 the USCG was realigned and is now a component of the US Department of Homeland Security. The move makes sense since they are tasked with maintaing the maritime security of the USA. Here's a link to the USCG http://www.uscg.mil/ .

will the LES and the heavy rescue amb. have standby comands?

Do you enjoy text based role-play? Well if you do come visit ERT and take on the role of a Firefighter, EMT (or Paramedic) or a Police officer. Its a great community with a great group of people!

There isn't much point giving the LES the standby command. The standby command allows a unit to be called as backup or sent with a battalion chief. There is no command to send an LES yet.

You can change the amount of spaces for injured people yourself though ;)
