an idea: Can somone make different varieties of fire extinguisher and make them act like in real life , Carbon dioxide , dry powder , foam etc.. so powder have better extinguish effect than foam and carbon dioxide,

I think it would be too confusing to have different types of Fire extinguisher.

Making a new fire fighting material is not very easy. making foam for example was not possible but some scripters made it and now it is possible(wuppertal mod). you might be interested in reading this post in the NY mod topic

Is wuppertal mod out yet ? Just change skin on the fire extinguisher , and add foam, carbon dioxide , powder, and with powder it goes faster to extinguish , and carbon dioxide slower like in real, and add that the fire extinguisher can be empty after using it in some seconds..

No...The Wuppertal mod hasn't been released yet.

No Wuppertal mod is not out yet. Changing the skin might be easy but changing the fire fighting material is really hard and needs advanced scripting knowledge.

Wuppertal mod is made in the mission part
so there's no freeplay with that sort of scripts
or they have something made that you can make it useable in the freeplay

Well I'm not sure if it is a part of a mission or part of the freeplay but I'm sure that they have made it.

yeah but thats not a fire extinguisher , it's a fire hose with foam

Yes but surely if a fire hose with foam is possible then a fire extinguisher with foam is as well.

but how do i reskin it ? do i use dds converter , and convert it to a file that paint can open ?

Just use Paint.NET because it can open .dds files.

It's in the model folder inside equipment. And it is possible to make foam (Just not see it) Com'on guys are you forgetting the foam tender in LA mod, it has a faster extinguishing time.

Yes but it was throwing water. Foam covers the fire and doesn't let oxygen to reach the fire(without oxygen the fire is dead).
