There are a ton of mods in progress as of now starting a new one might not be a great idea but i do encourage you to try to learn some basics to making mods from modeling to scripting thoes are the two most important to any mod without models nothing happens and same for scripts, i think as of now most of thoes people who can actualy Mod, Script, Skin, and so on are being using within the few mods in progress other mods that you may see on forums are just on a stand still and arent moving anywhere other mods move slowly and very few have a team that moves rapidly.

I wouldnt mind modeling random units or donating repeats i may have but the issue is that you need someone to uv map them the models other than that they are just plain .3ds

I like the idea of the mod DC. Ive seen most of there engines and other fire/rescue apparatus, and also police/ems

Which brings me to my next thought how many units do you plan to build? (list)

as said i hope this mod gets some help but during this time its a slim chance because of most thoes who can do anything are doing something

I like the idea but I think you should wait until some of the current mods are finished so more people can help you.
