Hey guys and girls,

I'm looking to start a EM4 / LA:MOD clan for multiplayer co-op gaming. The clan would have only a few rules:

  • All Members should be aware of all other members
  • Everyone should be polite to each other at all times
  • Everyone should speak English to a good standard
  • In-game communication should be clear, all response dispatchers should inform all others of their actions
  • We will develop a unified communication language to use in-game when requesting dispatch
  • All players should have a constant responsibility and eye on the budget
  • Generally, a dispatcher will control only one service per game, i.e, fire/police/medical/tech
  • Awards and Ranks will be assigned based on performance
  • Generally, each game must have a commander who will not be in charge of any service but who will authorise response requests
  • Generally, all dispatches must be authorised by the commander of that particular game first.
  • Players will, where possible, update each other as to what they are doing

I know it all sounds very formal but the more realistic we make it, the more fun it will be! So, if you fit into these catagories and have either EM4 or EM4 and the MOD (must be latest version) then reply to this thread. It'd be great if we could built up a group of talented and friendly members!

So, let me know who is in! Include your Name, your preferred service and finally, the length of time you have been playing for. So, i'll start.

Sounds like fun, when I perfect my internet I may join. Good Idea.
I can cover Technical and firefighting as well as meds, scince fire and resecue are the same, firefighting.
Oh... hehe...
I've been playing since the first emergency came out and have been playing the L.A> mod since 2.4 came out for EM3
I thought what I'd do was pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.

im a fire fighter in new york state and am use too using dispatch
preferably fd
with the fd it would be a good idea to divide the map into 2 fire districts south and north then put hazmat and rescue on the small middle island and tech could be evry 1 if u need it i get it

Hey there mate,

A mic isn't neccessary. At the moment, I don't really know much about the different (free) communication systems available.
We would keep it textual until I am aware of some kind of free mic software. If anyone has any ideas about this let me know.

Teamspeak is a free program where you can speak using mics. can't believe you've never heard of it :ohm

I have a server so if you want some of it to use feel free ;)

I had heard of TeamSpeak but i've never used it and wasn't aware of it being free.
Good news of course. Now, we need to come up with a name for the clan fellas?

Any ideas? I thought about EMERGE or ResponsiVe.
Any name ideas would be great :) and then we can start to organise a game. :)

Yeah. I think North and South OR West and East. Medical will be overall coverage, as will Police and Tech.

North and South would be better I think because you can set up a small station area up North with probaly a engine, chief, and a few others up there to cover.

when i play with 1 other person, we each get 2 jobs that cover the entire map. when i play with 2 others, 2 people split the map between north + south (north is everything north plus the island and south is everything else) and they get fire + medical in their area. the other person gets map-wide police + TEC.

with 4 players its split the map up into N + S but those people only do fire then the next person does medical all-map and the last does police + TEC all-map
