I thought it was clear, but I am not working on this anymore, and the whole reason this is in beta still, is for the very reason you stated. The images are there, but i simply could not get the unit images for the guards themselves to show up.

when i install this add-on... i follow the instuctions... but do i delete, for example

<vehicle prototype="mod:Prototypes/Vehicles/02 LA Fire Department/heavy_equipment_squad.e4p" text="HES" unit="HES" />
and then add

or where it says "paste above" do i paste it above it? please help me!!!

Do you see the word DELETE in the instructions? If yes, then delete the line mentioned, if not, then do as it says, and PASTE.

a little question

if i try to overwrite the freeplaybase.xml there apires an error that says:
the file C:/program fils/sixteen tons entertainment/emergency 4/mods/los angeles mod v2.0/specs/freeplaybase.xml cannot be created
please be shure if your fileway is right

There is no freeplaybase.xml in my installer or zip/rar files, so you may be in the wrong thread. You have to do the changes to that file on your own.

Anything. I prefer Notepad 2, but Notepad,Wordpad,any text editor will work.

So you like wana thank about that? Hasn't been an update in like a year and there really isn't anything more that could be done aside from updating the model to an ford escape but I can't model.

They were deleted in the forum crash I guess, and I dont have the file anymore, so a mod may as well throw the lock on this. If some one wants to take over the project, please credit Darren and myself.

Yes please, I dont think I am going to support this submod any longer, but I am already talking with some one to revive the project as part of a submod they are working on. So mods hold off on the lock for now.
