I have 911:FR and I am wondering how to set up the Winterberg mod properly? The download here lists only the Deluxe version, and the Winterberg site has an extremely bad layout, it's near impossible to find anything.

Thanks for your assistance.

Don't worry.
I have normal (non Deluxe or Gold) version. You can play Winterberg normaly on standard. There are few missing model files but that isn't a problem.
How to install:
1. Download assistance file Assistance file link.
2. Install it in mod installer.
3. Download Winterberg Updater Updater link .
4. Run it.
5. Perform update of your instalation.
6. Enjoy ;] :schreiben:

So, what is it the fire fighters do? Do they wait a block away before going to the station to get the truck? Nope. 10 or 12 guys go into the Station, put their gear on, and 6 of them jump in the Pump. The rest, they stay in the building in case they need the Rescue. So, Pump 1 responds from 119 Bertie St to 119 Bertie St, but, they have to follow protocol. So, they drive around they block, and stage at the corner, waiting for police to clear the building they just left.

There was more than one version of the mod.

That doesn't matter.
My tutorial is for clean installation of newest version of mod.

Ah, I thought the name spring break would make it like summer, lol.

I've been playing it a little while, every time I end freeplay, game crashes. Is there supposed to be a campaign too? Some things are a bit confusing too and it doesn't help that the English translation isn't so good.

Suppose nobody knows about the crashes?

Try to avoid double posting in the future, but with the crashing and that, I would report it to the winterburg mod creators, they might know what is on the go there... How are you ending it though?

If I try to start a new freeplay game, no matter which way I do it, it crashes.

Yes, downloaded from Direct2Drive. Never had any problems with the LA Mod.

Hi! tryied this mod out but it has so many buttons, and so many vehicles / functions, that i felt lost... are there plans for a translation? or is there one avaible? cause this mod looks very good, and has a lot of cool ideas and game concept, so it would be cool to know what all those buttons are, and how the game works...

There is an English translation available. Use the webupdater to recieve the most recent version. Then go to this folder: Emergency 4\Mods\WEM60\Specs and open the file metastrings.xml in notepad. Change all the 'de' into 'en' and save the file.
