I ban you for saying jet, its a MiG-24.

I ban your for incorrectly correcting people. A MiG has a jet engine, as a result it is a jet aircraft (or a jet) the term "MiG-24" is just the nomenclature. Like an "M16-A2" is a specific kind of rifle. You wouldn't say "an M16 isn't a rifle, it's just an M16" because that statement is false. All M16 variants are rifles, but not all rifles are M16's All MiG's are jets, but not all jets are MiGs
