California City Fire Dept.

In south eastern Kern County
That would be the old air rescue 19 I would imagine and this would be the new one, but I've found conflicting pics

You got it! Finally someone who did more then just guess random counties :) Told you to think California LOL

I only sumbled accross photos of it by luck while going through a ton of web pages..... bare with me for a few more seconds I'm gonna make this one interesting...... And I'm Back, Your task is to identify the ladder in picture one by using these on scene photos..You have all the hints I'll give, and as I side note that last photo isn't to helpful but it's a good shot.

Yep, you got that one fast, hopefully if everything works out I'll be running with them this year. The pictures of course are from a large fire right behind campus last year, at Furhmans Cider Mill, I would have also accepted Millcreek Township as well since they run in both... anyways you're up again Mike

Hopefully someone can get this just as fast! I had to throw out a lot of "impossible" shots and went with one that I think might give a challenge but not to impossible.

I'm looking for the city on this one and you get both a motor unit and a patrol car!

I didn't say it was easy :) But not as impossible as my usual ones with no markings! After all, this IS a challenge!!

This one is real rough, Ive been through at least twenty good photo sites trying to find it without any luck....is that recent photo of a new paint scheme or is one that's been in use for a while?

Absolute closest I've seen to both the cruiser and the bike is Burbank PD.

Indio, Huntington, Martinez, Montebello, Santa Monica, and Seal Beach also have similar car designs. (Martinez is dark blue and white though, and looks very nice)

None of them have the "bars" in the front of the door tho.

I am stumped :P

Heh, it's a recent scheme at least since 2003.

And no, not Burbank. Actually, a quick google search for the dept came up blank for me too. Weird. No love for these guys I guess.

Nope none of those :)

So what's the general consensus? Move on to maybe a fire pic?

Yeah, need more infos :P

(I went through this whole set, no joy: http://www.flickr.co...an/sets/471076/ )

Btw if you're looking through flickr/google images and other big photo places a lot, and use Firefox, check out this awesome addon: http://www.piclens.com/

It loads multiple pages and displays them in a big 3d scrolling pane)
