Instantly recongising the Thornycroft Bodywork:
1971 Carmichael Thornycroft Nubian Major (Airport Major Foam Tender), powered by a Cummins VT903 V8 turbo. Restored/preserved Thornycroft Nubian Major currently serving Coventry AFS, UK.

Country, Service, use and reason it's White. It has to do with a certain amount of years the service has been running.

Australia, Melbourne. It is a Metropolitan Fire Brigade centenary pumper and it is was specially commisioned in 1991 to promote 100 years of service to Melbourne. It was nicknamed 'the ice cream truck'.
