Nah, most of the time the helicopter pilot himself finds the most suitable landing spot, with the assistance of a Paramedic Officer and its known as the Midlands Air Ambulance (MAA) not West Midlands Air Ambulance (WMAA) as the charity/service covers the west midlands, east midlands, shropshire, staffordshire, worcestershire and to an extent, surrounding areas and "The Midlands" refers to all these areas.

Is it based at Brierly Hill?
Is it used at night to deliver helicopter medics/doctors to an incident as (most) air ambulances aren't allowed to fly at night? (Only info. I can find suggests its an RRV, which people have already suggested.)

Yep, Just not Brierley Hill (WMAS Regional HQ), its based at one of the Bases!

Clue: Not the S and not the T and the only MAA base to have a doctor.
