
CRC failed in data2.cab HELP!

when i try to install 911 fr i get the msg CRC failed in data2.cab and atari is not helping me any what can i do to fix it? plz help
Try typing data2.cab in the search engine. Three topics will appear about the mistake, maybe you can find the answer there.

Is it from a CD? If so, the CD might contrain dust or have scratches and that's why you get the error. But I think you have the digital download so your .exe is on the pc. Am I right?

yes i have the digital download :/
when i try to install it comes up with CRC failed in data2.cab
Unexpected end of archive and a msg pops up sayin
Some installation files are corrupt.
Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation

The CRC error is msotly due to corrupt bit stream. Are you doing other thigns while installing? Are othe rprocesses using high memory and is the file readable with full access?
nothing is running and is the file readable with full access? i dunno how i would find out
