Hi guys.
I need a little help with translation i the Winterberg mod.
There are some buttons and commands that i need translated and described what they do, so if someone is kind and help me it would be wonderful?

Units and commands at the stations:

  • 8-85-1 KTW Wib
  • GW-atemschutz alamieren
  • Grosstanklöschfarhzeug nachfordern
  • Inselloeschtrupp
  • GW-nachschub alarmieren
  • Alamierung FAE
  • Gefahrgutzug
  • Freies FZ Alarmieren
  • Kripo Alarmieren
  • Wasserverk alarmieren

Units and commands at the stations:

* KTW Wib = Kranten Transport Wagen Winterberg, similar to an ambulance
* GW-atemschutz alamieren
* Call watertender
* Only for the deluxe freeplay, call the firefighters on the island
* GW-nachschub alarmieren
* Alamierung FAE
* Call hazmat
* Call free vehicle
* Call police (KRIPO = police for analizing murdered bodys, ...)
* Call technician of waterworks



Commands in one of the firetrucks

* Open/close communication antenna (no use atm so far i know)



Commands in every truck

* The status "Free" has been send to the command(just means that the vehicle is free and not using for any casualty)

If i recall this is the second ambulance for winterberg at the hosptial. It usefullness is some what limit. I disptach this one when i get a fall or a minor issue. If it a stroke, heart attack or something that needs a doctor this ambulance will be a waste to disptach.

I belive this means the fire fighters will be wearing air mask.

Kripo Alarmieren is not call bomb squad. it Kirpolize alarieren, which is bascily detectives or uncover officers in unmared cars. As stan said.

Units and commands at the stations:

  • 8-85-1 KTW Wib
    The KTW is only a little bit more than a taxi, mainly used in Germany for transporting sick people who can not really walk to or from hospital or doctor.
    It is also called for emergencies if the RTW (which compares to the regular ambulance) is not available and the emergency only asks for minor treatment, as a person fallen down or something else. In Winterberg Mod, it is only of use for patients with almost full health
  • GW-atemschutz alamieren
    The GW Atemschutz is a truck specialised for two tasks:
    1. It acts as the HazMat Truck, as it has numerous HazMat suits onboard and can be used to decontaminate people
    2. It is also used for the delivery of air masks to the scene, as the other trucks often do not have enough air masks for all firefighters, and some places on the map can only be entered by firemen with air masks when there is a fire.
    In Winterberg Mod, you can only call one of these vehicles, which is stationed at the Winterberg Fire Station.
  • Grosstanklöschfarhzeug nachfordern
    The GTLF or Grosstanklöschfahrzeug is a big watertender, with more power than the standard TLF (water tender). In Winterberg Mod, you can call two of those GTLFs, both looking different, but with almost the same functions. The first one has six firefighters on board, but the second one comes with a free placable water cannon (as the TLF Winterberg does).
  • Inselloeschtrupp
    This button is used to alert the single fire engine on the small island in the east. It could be translated as "Island Firefighting Squad".
  • GW-nachschub alarmieren
    The GW Nachschub is used to carry aditional hoses and other stuff to the scene. Is is used merely supportive.
  • Alamierung FAE
    Here you can switch between alert by FAE (little devices, like pagers, which every volunteer firefighter carries), and alert by siren.
    In general, alert by siren will send more vehicles than alert by FAE, but is not used often.
  • Gefahrgutzug
    This is the alert for all vehicles which respond to a HazMat situation. This will send you almost the whole Fire Station of Winterberg (not of the neighbouring cities), including the GW Atemschutz (remember, the HazMat truck) and an GTLF.
  • Freies FZ Alarmieren
    This simply means "Alert for the next free car". You can switch these to redirect already alerted vehicles or to cancel an alert for a vehicle. It is only used on the EMS menu.
  • Kripo Alarmieren
    As said before, send the detectives. They are needed for the homicide mission in EM4 Deluxe. The car carries to police officers, a profiler and a scout.
  • Wasserverk alarmieren
    Sending you an engineer of the local water supply company, to fix a broken hydrant.

Commands in one of the firetrucks

  • Funkmast aus- und einfahren
    It is used to raise the radio antenna of the ELW (Einsatzleitwagen = Fire Command Vehicle). This is only a visual effect, no practical use.

Commands in every truck

  • Der Status 1 FREI AUF Funk wurde der leitstelle übermittult
    This will send Code 1 to the Dispatcher, allowing the vehicle to be alerted again. Code 1 means, that this is vehicle is ready for the next alert also it has not yet arrived back at the station. Code 1 is also transmitted when a vehicle is going back to the base because you clicked the P icon.

So...... Does anyone know how to handle the train derailments? I just had one occur by the train station, so I couldn't get back to cool the train cars, and then for some reason the GTLF just blew up, it said something I can't remember what, (probably the missing clue to what I'm doing wrong). Even when other derailments occur, I just don't know how to finish the incident. Any help would be appreciated.

You cool the wagons then you pick them up with the crane and put them on the street. There you can tow them off :)

Is the police button called "demo" in 5.7 meant to be use in case of demonstrations?

Yes, it is.
As demonstrations in Winterberg tend to escalate really fast, this buttons calls you different police vehicles at once (I think it sends a police car, two police vans and two water cannons, just in case :))

Do you play in Multiplayer? That won't work, Winterberg is not Multiplayer-compatible and will not be so in the near future...

No, it is not, absolutely sure about that (as we have about 1-2 postins every day on the Winterberg forums about that topic).
The official response of the team is that Winterberg Mod is not multiplayer compatible and will not in the near future, as they have problems they don't know how to solve, and it seems there is no workaround.
Just search for multiplayer on the Winterberg forums :)

Ok, if they removed it that's something else. I rmemebered theres was multiplayer since version 5.4 or soemthing like that.
I'm not really a Winterberg player so I'm not really up-to-date on regarding that.
