It has been a while since I have played on my pc (wipes away the cobwebs!) I had to reinstall emergency 4deluxe onto it and I was waiting to play the game ... and bang! it crashes everytime I try and start the game .
What have I missed?
It is the EMergency4 Deluxe version so I know that I do not have to download the patches ..... but If I remember I need to download something but cannot remember what?
Please help!

Hmm ok ... looks like I will have to try and work this one out...
The game starts like normal but never get to the menu screen it just goes back to the desk top and I do not play no game at all.
Am I missing any files?

It does show the Start up Videos and then back to the desktop.

the logfile is called logfile.txt and is in your Sixteen Tons/Emergency 4 Deluxe directory, you can upload it and addition it as attachement

I tried to load it before I left ... but no good .. i`m only on for a few hours and will be back home soon aswell to see If I can play this wonderful game on my pc .

looking at the main page I can not see the files..... so does that mean I do a reinstall etc?

O dear..... I uninstalled the game and I have tried to Install it but I have another problem ..
It stops installing and comes up with : an error box Em4_de De_Data E./data2.cab and Data Error (cycle Redundancy check!)

Hmm, theres a way, do yo have any disc repair shop at your location maybe? In fact they can polish the disc with a special tool to make a clean surface (its for sale online too, but that costs around 60$ and don't think that's worth it lol)
