i dont care about the goggles. i think of them as extra eye candy, so i want everything else that really has a purpose

Well, I don't own an Xbox360, but from what I can tell from what my friends say, the RROD is really just a crash and probably 7/10 times they just need to restart. Just like on my PS3, sometimes I have to restart because of a game crash.

Yeesh, seems like a waste of money to me. Just get the normal version. They add another 40 bucks for those NVGs but they are probably cheap pieces of shit. I mean a good pair of goggles cost as much as Prestige alone. I wouldn't buy it.

Although the NVG goggles are most likely crap, at least it's better than most special editions that get released.

lol i gotta get FM3. for Christmas im getting (probably) GTA IV and will try to get L4D2, and CoD 6, and maybe ill get FM3 for my birthday

i got the RRoD on Sun. it was System Error 74 so we took it in to Best Buy (where we got it) and our 2 year warranty/replacement plan doesnt expire till Christmas so I got a brand new Xbox Pro with a 60 GB HDD (compared to my 8 GB ), my data transferred, and brand new hardware (such as a new headset, controller) for free included all from Geek Squad.

thats why you always buy from Best Buy so u dont have to send it to a monopoly to get it fixed.

I'm not buying CoD MW2 because Infinity Ward is not going to have dedicated PC servers. Thousands of people have already cancelled their preorders due to that. I myself have signed an online petition asking for PC servers that has over 198,000 signatures.

It's not going to 'beat' the first MW in sales at all. Best game of the year my ass. They always publish negative news like this at the end. I am going to get the game for my Xbox 360 too JUST for singleplayer, multiplayer won't be that mind-blowing as other people might think. Especially now they didn't include dedicated servers in the PC version. Bye bye modding community. A maximum of 18 players online? That's just ridiculous. Multiplayer is going to be a been-there-done-that feeling. Mark my words.

in other new my PC is broken again less than a month after i got it fixed by Geek Squad. they suck; thye keep it for like 2 weeks, charge u a billion $, and then its not even fixed although i dont think its the same problem.

I've had it happen to me, and its more like 9.5/10 times its just a restart.

The only real downsides are the Chansaw Effect (If you drop/move the concle with an game in it it will destroy the disk) and the digital reader will sometimes get dusty, and you are unable to clean it.

I got the prestige edition of mw2. The goggles work great around the house but suck outside I personally like black ops more but the assassins creed series owns all, and I do play on 360
