I have no problems on the site and never even knew there was an email issue but hey, updates are always great.

The email issue only really affected new registrations, due to issues some users of certain email services would not get their authentication email, so we had to manually activate those accounts and currently still do. If you had an existing account or were a user of one of the unaffected services you'd never be aware of the issue. Just one of the things that will resolve, overall the service was generally reliable, but reduction in operation costs is always a good thing.

Yes, I have been waiting for a while ( 2 weeks ) for my account to be validated! Let's hope this will solve the issue.
