Hello 

 

I was a bit bored yesterday after a fire call so i decided to make one of the gadgets we have on our fire trucks. 

 

The gadget is a multiflare and usually comes in both orange and blue. 

The real version has 9 different light patterns but i decided to make 3 for the emergency 4 version 

I have 3D modellet it, given it lights and made scripts to control the light patterns

This is the portable led unit ised in place of typical flares isnt it? We used something similar as the more more effective and easier to use.

Do these spin? And I can only imagine that lighting this would have been a pain.

I doubt its easier to use. this device has 1 button ^^ 

Buy yes, it is a portable LED unit and usually comes in a case containing 6 of them

It was a pain... and i'm still not 100% satisfied with the result which is also why its not released yet

Uh, I remember seeing a sh*tload of these in Segurex 2015. There was a little stand full of these, plus rotators, LEDs and other warning devices. Instant epilepsy.

We have red and orange ones here, there are many different light patterns, though I think for your purposes, using just a simple strobe pattern or something, as opposed to the rotating style would be easier.

 

Now for the dreaded question, how heavy is it poly wise?
