Hey guys, I've started doing some reskins of the city of Boise, just for fun, on the NYC MOD and wanted to show them for some feedback.

 

The first vehicle was based on this CVPI:

For a person just starting something on modding - good start! I think no need to tell you whats the difference on it and real life photo.

 

If you wish to go further - please post a credits (authors nicknames of the moddels you use)

No, there isnt anything wrong with what he did, for someone starting out it's a nice effort thus far.  It'd be better if the lightbar colors matched but that kinda is what it is since he's just doing a reskin of it right now.  Though he can change that pretty easy, the lightbar I think I mapped in such a way that each cell is on a different block, so that's something you might be able to fix pretty quick.

There's nothing wrong with what OP did. Most people stay away from Mike's models due to their photorealistic textures, so its nice seeing a photoreal reskin for once. Like Mikey said, the lightbar could do with some proper blue/red/white colors, but I think its an easy fix, given how the model is UV mapped.

I did some editing on that, changed the color a little bit and changed the lightbar color pattern.

So, I had some new stuff to show, as I had reskinned at least 10 units, but my laptop got stolen. Maybe in the future I will do everything again, but for now I'll have to stop working on that.
