Is there any way to export an animated model from a program like blender (Which is possible) then import it into ZModeler (Keeping the animations) and THEN exporting as a .V30 with these animations? Will just save a lot more time than doing animations manually.

(Won't have internet until this time tomorrow so if I don't answer, that is why)

Wrong section again Moved by moderator. Thank you.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Blended uses a different animation system than Em4. Em4 uses separate individual frames, I don't know what blender uses.

When you export it to Zmod, the bleder animations might not make it through due to different systems of those programs. Now, the biggest issue is that when you export a .v3o in Zmod, it does not keep animations. It only exports the static model itself. Any anims you have will be lost. So even if you do get anims into Zmod, you can't get them into .v3o.

Saving creating animations in ZModeler for EM4 requires ZModeler3. You would need to save the animations as a .vmo and attach it to the model in the editor.

Zmodeler 2 can also be used to create animation but uses v3o to export animation data (as normal model files).

Saving creating animations in ZModeler for EM4 requires ZModeler3. You would need to save the animations as a .vmo and attach it to the model in the editor.

Zmod2 can create animations but its frame by frame and has a different system than blender. The frames would be exported as separate and individual .v3o's/ You would then need to compile these frames into an animation. Refer to the program and tutorial of Hoppah:

http://forum.emergen...ting-3d-models/

And who wants to pay 30 or so dollars a MONTH for Zmod3?

Thank you all for your advice :)

@itchboy + randomperson129 - I really could have sworn I put it in the EM4 section? I remember making sure I was really careful.

I have the worst memory ever, shows how lazy I was the fact I couldn't be bothered to check the name either (Or the section for that matter) :P
