UPDATE: Second Officer dies of injuries, suspect possibly committed suicide, CNN reports.

This is some serious crap. Nobody deserves to be shot, but especially not cops.

They protect you from getting robbed or shot, and as a thanks, people have started shooting them for no reason.

This isn't just a problem in the states. The RCMP has had officers targeted multiple times.

It's bull. What is wrong with the logic of some people?

Wow, that cop just gave that guy a ticket for going to fast, possibly getting someone hurt. He deserves a bullet to the head.

It all comes down to "What the heck is wrong with people?"

R.I.P to the 2 officers. It's a shame the shooter died too, because that guy deserves to rot in a cell.

Apparently the recent commotion around police not treating black people right was his motive to target officers.

Nice way to generalize every single cop as a bad person while they were probably just good, decent and dedicated officers.

Rest in Peace and my thoughts go out to the families of the cops.

NYPD Cadets advised not to wear anything related to the NYPD so no uniforms, memorabilia nothing. Also saw on NYC Fire Wire that the 120 precinct got a call saying that a cop was going to get shot in the head.

It was a sad day for NY finest and Florida as three officers paid illuminate sacrifice.  They gave there livers to protect us even the bad guys. Rest in peace brothers may time help heal wounds of the family and friends. Never forget the sacrifices that public safety works and the Military make very day, God Bless.
