After figuring out how to bypass all the other glitches - like the motorboat that won't retrieve people - I have hit a dead end during the Hamburg - Flood mission. I finish everything except the rescue of one trapped driver. The problem is that the crane jumps into the water to save the middle of the three cars, and subsequently fails to put the car back on dry land. It's inaccessible to the Jaws, and I can't get further. Crane won't move or pick up the vehicle again.

I got this too but after a few times i was able to pass it. Get that car last and don't let the crane go over the guardrail. Dont give up just keep trying and you will get past that.

Thanks, at least I know it's possible then.. tried 5-6 times already so I kinda felt a little frustrated towards the end. Is it correct that you cannot load your progress during these missions? While saving seems to work (saves a screenshot of the current scene), loading simply restarts the mission from the beginning. Kinda frustrating when there's so many other things to micromanage and glitches to deal with throughout this one.. oh well, guess I'll give it another go.

Yea you have to restart the entire mission which kinda sucks but i dont think it took me that many times to pass it. You could get the cars out of the water first and just focus on that and then focus on everything else after. Just keep an eye on the crane and dont let it go over the rail or it will get stuck and you will have to restart the mission.  :excl:

Try to place the crane as close as you can the rails. so that when you click the vehicle underwater, so that the Crane dosent have to move :)

worked for me :) also had to get the diver to retrive a victim in the water, the boat wouldnt pick him up :)

Had a similar issue in the same mission where my recovery helicopter would just freeze when it tried to winch up stranded civilians on rooftops that are standing.

Welcome to the forum!

I think there's been a patch released now, so have you installed that? Is this happening after installing the patch?
