Do you put the Em5 content folder under em5 or QSF I tried putting it under em5 and still no lights :(

I think the latest patch returned some of the lighting back to the original. Also i think there is a bug on the water tender as whenever i use it the graphics get all contrasted but as soon i send it back to HQ the graphics return to normal. This is the only vehicle i have an issue with. I looked at it in the editor and i think theres a white light under it that is causing the issue.

Ok, can you do me a favor and install the light mod again to see if it causes any issues with those units that got reverted to original lights. Also I'm aware about the mysterious white halo lights around the water tanker, I have no idea what's causing it but I'll keep looking. Thanks mate.

Re-installing the mod files worked fine for me.

New version will be available today for download. It includes changes to light set-ups across all agencies for a more balanced performances. I still have no clue what the hell is causing the white lights that surrounds the water tanker. It works fine on my side ...

Change Log :


- Improvements to general area radiations emitting from light sources.
- Improved patterns with random and synchronization cycle.  
- Removed excessive forward white lights and toned it down. 
- Improved Police Helicopter lighting, along with realistic spotlight texture and coloring. The rest of the helicopters will be updated in the next version. 
- the white glow around the FD tanker should be fixed, but if not, let me know ... 
- LED beacon attached to bomb robot. 
- Most of the units will have new headlight wig-wags.

About the siren, if you are referring to the fire department siren and EMS siren, it's suppose to be high pitch as they are Whelen dual sirens, but. Suppose I'll compile a different siren model and upload it tonight.

Okay so im still getting the while halo but now its flashing and its with other units so far the pumper,ambulance, and police van. Also the bumper and real lights on the police car are white and only one flashes. Same with the doctors car and the left back light on the roof isn't flashing at all. Im not sure if they are supposed to be white but it the white lights dont look good imo. Sorry but this is the worst version so far.

yeah those are the ones. I know what ones they should be like. they are different from the ones from your video too which is weird. 

 

otherwise the rest is great thanks the lights are one thing that really needed changing.
