it looks like a prison(minus the chain link fence and barbed wire)

sounds pretty rough. our school looks "modern" (outside walls go from plastic, to wood, to stone... inside is not so pretty, but at the same time is...)
ontopic: the weather could've been better last saturday (didn't stop raining, our garden flooded but we have drains but the neighbours don't) but it's nice now..

well, today we have a FREAKIN HUGE storm system moving in and snow (yay!)

already snowed 1-2 inches, and expected to get between 4-8 more.

Snowed a while ago. Two hour delay. Then, the snow turned to ice, so it sat on the sidewalks.

Oh, and a two hour delay today, too!

this morning was bout 45-50 degrees F, and foggy as hell, but other than that, was fie. (you couldnt see like more than a dozen ft ahead of you)

fog went away.

by 2:10 PM (when our school dismisses ), it was about 70 degrees, with some big gusts of wind and an extremely pleasant cool breeze. it was sunny, and snow was almost gone save for the big piles.

now we got huge T-storms:

rain(heavy), lightning, thunder, snow, everything.

this just keeps on getting better and better lol

well, the last of the snow from the big storm system that moved in a few weeks ago is starting to melt away. its like in the 60s and really nice and sunny out

Well, were in Portugal is always sunny and very pleasent (I mean without those storms). But I never see snow here in my city.

i wouldnt say all the time. in summer and i quote, "...it's...fucking hot". yeah but during the winter we do get some snow. hell, global warming my ass when we had that BIG snow; i heard some places in St Louis got a foot + of snow. (we had no school that day )

We've had really weird weather.
In the morning the sun has been out but it's been raining hard at the same time. Strong winds were blowing down from the north and were very cold.
By the afternoon, clouds had covered the sky, but not deep, dark clouds. It was more like a fog or mist and you could still see the sun. By now the pavements look extremly grubby and Fife council mobilised!! They had one sreet cleaner and managed to finish one of twelve sets of roadworks in the town

For those who don't get it, Fife council is notorious for doing nothing. But when they do, it's usually incorrect.

(Recently, they set up dozens of roadworks along the main street near the town and the main road that connects the West villages. This caused chaos because they are also building a new bus station and a new part of the shopping centre. So taxis had no where to go and buses have to go along awkward routes.)

On the upside, my bamboo plant is growing nicly and looks healthy :1046275747_biggthumpup: (yay for ikea)
