Because I never actually showed a pic of the completed BEAR

fCVmRGA.png

Model originally by LA Mod Team, heavilly modified into correct specs by me, with assistance from MikeyPI

Due to recent events surrounding this LA vehicle pack, I feel that I no longer wish to release this pack. I have a big modding project coming up soon and I don't want to spoil the mod and its vehicles that I will be making. I want to preserve the uniquness of these vehicles and wish to improve the modding community by not handing out content so easilly anymore. Its about time we ended this reskin mod ********* and actually had a set of unique, tasteful and special mods. We need to go beyond repainting a car and calling it a mod.

The existing release is still going to be available in its current form, BUT THE RULES I SET STILL APPLY, but the new version won't be coming out.

Looks great, Itchboy.

You make great points, thank you for all of your hard work!

Itchboy,

I have to say this.. I was so looking forward the pack coming out when it was completed, because the vehicles look amazing and I don't have knowledge to make anything close to them. However I totally understand your feelings  and wishes to kill the release.

I wish you the best on your next Big Modding Project.

Well, looks nice.

Sounds like I'm done tinkering with EM4, unless something else comes along and keeps me interested enough. If I had the talent and patience to do things on my own it might have been different, but it is how it is.

Good luck on your project.

So all because of misunderstanding with one person you are no longer going to release a pack. Yes I agree we need a new mod that isn't just reskins or vehicle changes but there are very few people who have time or the skills to make a whole mod from scratch.

I wish you the best at anything. If you do release it then some of us support you. If you don't release it then we will still support you. (At least ... well I will)
Good luck, Corsair

I don't think that's why he's not releasing his pack understand there might be other factors involved why he is not releasing the pack. But I totally agree with your opinion.

No, this is primarilly because I wish to focus on an actual mod, and not a bunch of cars. Thats pretty much it. The recent events just pushed me over the edge. This isnt about the misunderstanding. This isnt about others. Its about my own personal decision to do this.

This is a big let down but i understand where your coming from and you want to push your limits to make your own mod instead of making vehicles... but everyone who got so hyped up for brand new vehicles is let down because all the suspense and spoilers you showed them... just my opinion.

Okay so let me get this straight. You don't want to release your vehicles, but want to put them in a mod?

So apparently there's a lot of confusion here on this. Now itchboy, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but here's what is happening:

Itchboy has chosen to develop a load of vehicles and models for the game.

Instead of releasing these models in a pack that people will reskin and use in their own mod, he has decided to use them for something else, namely his own mod.

I don't understand the shock and awe here. Almost EVERY single legitimate mod creator has made their own models for their own mod. Why is it shocking that itchboy is doing the same?

If I recall on a post the other day he made a comment and it said  "I'd not have started another mod if I was already committed to another mod/project." but yet here he is starting another project without finishing the first one he started. I am not trying to stir the pot I am just calling him out on it. I am tired of people harping against something then they go and do the same thing they were just against.

You are trying to stir the pot. This isn't a project. This is a part of a project. You look like an idiot when you start one mod, get halfway through it, and stop when you run out of things to reskin. You further development when you decide to take a bunch of models and make a mod out of it.

People need to get over themselves, shut up whining that they'll have to wait for a project to be developed. For me, it's starting to look a LOT like people are pissed they won't get a release, which looks like begging for a release date, which not only doesn't work here, it gets a suspension.

If he dropped everything, and decided to start afresh, I'd be pissed. Hell, everyone would be. Thing is, he's got a load of vehicles, all sharing a theme. Deciding to make a mod, instead of releasing bare models isn't hypocritical.

Everyone needs to calm down.

I've been holding this in for some time.

People, the guys & gals that make stuff for mods, they do it of their own free time.  They do have a life outside of this game, and they out of their own good heart let other people have access to their content.  All they ask is for credit.

This means that they can DO WHAT THEY WANT WITH THEIR CONTENT!  They can also TAKE THEIR TIME and release info, screen shots, videos, and the actual files as they see fit!

I love looking at the all the ideas people come up with.  I've downloaded several mods, and have enjoyed playing them.  But to challenge what the content creators do, this makes NO SENSE to me.  I currently don't have the skills to do all this stuff myself.  I am very happy to wait for good looking mods, and if people change their mind about what they want to do, that is their decision.  I might be disappointed that I can't get the content right away, but like in this case, it will eventually probably lead to another cool mod!

People, RESPECT is something that not only is earned, but should be given.  I respect all the mod creators, and I want to thank you all for your time and energy to make our games more fun and varied!

So he wants to put all his vehicles into another mod and release it?

I've got a little something something in the works. This is what I'd consider "moving up" from a vehicle pack to a full blown mod. Its not going into another mod. Its going into A MOD for these vehicles.

Hmmm...lemme see my projects:

  • Montana - paused because of bama so I have all the time in the world
  • RCMP - idek because of the lack of anything actually
  • River Falls - IM DONE WITH MY END OF THE STICK

In other words, I might as well be totally free. You're trying to do to me, what the moderators did to Mentor, and no, this isnt another project.

If I couldnt be more blunt about it, THESE VEHICLES ARE GOING INTO THEIR OWN ******** MOD. I HAVE SIMPLY MADE THE DECISION TO MOVE UP AND DO A FULL BLOWN MOD INSTEAD OF A CAR PACK.

I've been holding this in for some time.
