At the scene of large fires, the Field Communications Unit assists the Incident Commander and becomes the hub of all communications needs. They constantly broadcast the status and progress of the firefighters so other units can ready themselves to respond if necessary. In game it will broadcast real life Fireground audio to enhance the realism of gameplay

Brooklyn Modification Team Presents

RAC Unit 2 (Rehabilitation and Care)

The unit responds to All Hands Fires and up and is used after to provide firefighters with drinks, food and other refreshments. In game it will carry to FF/EMTs who can heal your firefighters incase they are injured while searching buildings or fighting fires.

The rear lights look a little odd being black. But then again the NYFD has always had a *cough* distinctive look to their units.

The new smoke looks awesome, and I'm liking the amount of realism on fire scenes with the ventilation and stuff.  Everything looks pretty sweet.  If I have one negative comment, I would just say that some of the map textures aren't doing it for me...I don't know what it is, but some of the streets and stuff look kinda plain or something.  Still, the amount of new gameplay features will outweigh that.

Thanks for the feedback, Dyson has the latest version and is going to see if he can work on the map texture.

Would it be possible to make it so the smoke actually reflected the fire conditions? Like when their is lots of fire have black smoke and when it gets knocked down have white smoke?
