I suggest you guys change sirens options or upgrade the quality of the sirens. In my opinion Manhattan v3 Mod and SD version had better siren options.

The sirens in BoF are the same as in the previous versions just with more additional sirens added so I'm not entirely sure what you mean.

I was playing both version yesterday and It didn't seem like they had the same siren, am only referring to NYPD vehicles. I will go back and double check.

The NYPD sirens are a different story they will be redone anyway but I can't comment on what they were like in SD but they're the same in v3 and BoF

As far as I can remember, this is usually caused by the mouse moving while the mod is loading. Try and ensure the mouse doesn't move at all while the game is loading the mod, and remember the game freezing at this point is normal.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing wrong, but I downloaded the Brooklyn Mod, started playing, only to find that I have no trucks in the stations, and I'm missing stations. Did I screw up?

No try re-down loading or installing the mod again. There must have been some files missing when you down loaded, it happens some times.

Whats up!

Hasn't been done before, and I haven't seen real life departments move trucks unless they need to make room for other responding companies. Would be interesting to see if it's doable, though I have a feeling it's not or it already would have been done.

Probably is possible but what's the point? I've never seen an engine hooked up then driven around

It's called forward lay of the line, it's used mostly where a hydrant isnt exactly near the hydrant, so instead a firefighter hops off at the hydrant, ties around it, then the engine proceeds to the fire with the hose reeling out of the bed of the truck as it goes.  Saves lugging the hose yourself to the supply line if it's a decent hike away.  It isnt the most common practiced method of deploying the hose, but it's very effective in areas where the hydrants are few and far between and there is no other alternative for sources.

We still do it where I live in CT along on the shoreline and still train on it on occasion I think the longest forward lay we've ever done I believe was over 200 feet of 4inch
