Now it is not possible to call the LAX yellow ambulance using a chief and a police chief is missing from the game. Are you planning on adding them to the game? The fire and medic chief have more call options than a regular LAPD police officer.

Would it be possible to add a third station or convert station 2 to a LACoFD station?

 

I can easily switch out vehicles on the map, but I'd have to dig around to find and edit the station textures. Adding a third station is probably out of reach, even before considering there's already three police stations on the map.

That reminds me that SG had a detective in his submod I need to add.

 

Currently, my call scripts are compatible with every vehicle stationed on the map, including the usual fire crew mechanics to all police units.

 

EMS/Fire supervisors can call a large variety (11 scripts) of units from on-or-off map. Other EMS/Fire personnel can a few different units (5 scripts), but only from those on map. Police personnel can call a large variety of police units from on-or-off map, some non-police units from off map (coroner, tow truck, DOT van), and a few on-map EMS/Fire units (13 total scripts). If I add the detective, I'd probably limit normal officers to a few scripts limited to on-map units and give detectives more ability to call more units from on-and-off map. Other than that, I don't plan on adding any more police personnel.

If I remember correctly normal police officers were able to examine a dead body including negotiators. Are you only allowing detectives to examine a dead body? Seems good to me. Are you planning on changing the map or any events that occur (like freeplay parameters) since I noticed the other topic you made.

Some changes coming soon. I'm upgrading to E4LM lights for all my compatible vehicles (thanks to my new GTX 780, my system can handle that now), and I'm going to take a look at the new textures EM4life made and see about adding new vehicles or simply replacing the old textures.

 

If I remember correctly normal police officers were able to examine a dead body including negotiators. Are you only allowing detectives to examine a dead body? Seems good to me. Are you planning on changing the map or any events that occur (like freeplay parameters) since I noticed the other topic you made.

Not sure if there's much use to the "Examine Body" command, except for maybe some of the missions.

 

I've made numerous edits (adding fire alarms for the BMA script to most commercial and industrial buildings, moved some objects around for better person/vehicle access to map areas, changing indoor and outdoor vehicle parking at stations, edited and added gas explosion and MVA objects and locations, probably more I'm forgetting).

Just a quick peek. A few more skins scrounged (I'll eventually redo all the numbers when I find what the LAFD font is), and 4/7 ALS ambulances changed to LED lightbars.

Not sure if there's much use to the "Examine Body" command, except for maybe some of the missions.

In freeplay when you get the missing person case(forgot if it's for all cases or just one) after you examine it will say stand by for suspect description. Then a "gangster" will appear on the map.

6/17 - Itchboy Fleet Services just supplied a whole new batch of ambulances to the LAFD.

 

 

IFS is great! They'll do a swap for a whole new vehicle if you decide within a week!

I'd add all your ambulance models to the set, including the Ford pack, if I could. I can tweak skins and lights, but I'm not very good at whipping new ones up, so I'd have to let someone with better skills to handle a base version. I threw the suggestion out there in the "New LA Vehicles" thread, but I don't expect anyone to do so unless they feel like it.

 

Edit: 6/18 Collection of CVPIs. More will be made, at least to complete sets of lightbars (Red/blue LED, silver LED, Arjent, MX, Slicktop)
