I know I would like a new beta to see how good the mod is (Won't be up there with Manhattan or Montana or River Falls unless there is a whole new map, not an edited one). :)

Can you reaupload the mod elsewhere? Mega hold download at half and force to install their s**t to continiune.

You should better clean your mod (submod) first, it is half unfinished. The new lights you did are honestly great - but i would not load your mod againe 2play.

The beta in this topic is very, very old. Since then, a TON of new units have been added and lots of edits to the map :)

New beta will be released once I can figure out why CVFD Engine 2 is crashing the game all the sudden.

How is the work going? I can't wait for a new version of this mod! I love this mod, although some of the bugs, like the crashing with engine 2, no return to fire station command on the brush when you start and no lights on PD car 1 are hard to play around.

Hey Jacob, thanks for showing interest and playing the beta! I've worked very hard on making sure all police units look and work great. I'm giving up on fixing the engine 2 bug and am instead making a new prototype for engine 2 instead of trying to simply change the model. The brush truck has no return to station command as in the upcoming beta the brush rig will not spawn in the station, it'll be called in off map. Expect more updates soon!

I know, I just prefer to keep everything in chronological order as far as development.

 

On that note:

V2 Beta is here!

All model credits go to their original authors.

 

So what's next?

-More fire units from different mutual aid departments

-Larger, more rural map

I do have a suggestion for you, ThomasVista207, can you make it so the police cars park in the back of the station instead of the front. I just think it would utilize the parking lot better and make it so we can park more cars there.

the ambos crash because they try to park at the fire station and is there suposted to be a second truck at the station

I was happy to see a new version of your modand downloaded it but I need your help.

What vehicle belongs in to the second parking space in the fire house? When I load up the game there's the chief's truck and a small pick up'ish truck parked at the station. The second issue is that after the first call-out is completed nothing else is gonna happen, so no more incidents. Do you know how to fix this issue?

I too am having this issue. There is only only Engine Truck that is showing in the unit list and it doesn't have a return to station command.

The time between callouts is extremely long as I had it set that way so I could test vehicles with minimal interruptions.

I will remove the return to station command from the ambulances, thanks for bringing that up.

As for the fire units- there was an engine in that empty bay, but it kept crashing. I'm currently working on finding, modifying, and reskinning new fire apparatus. This beta was mainly to show progress is indeed being made, and also to show off the tons of police units I've added. There will be a CVFD engine 2 and then Brewer's Landing fire department mutual aid units (as seen by the light rescue truck). A BLVFD chief's car is currently in progress. Thanks for testing guys!

It would be easier if they would park back there so you don't have to stress about getting them to park in the actual spot
