Injured persons can recover and stand after early and substantial medical treatment. They still need to go to ambulance but no strecher bearers needed. Their chance of recovering depends on injury received and lowest health reached.

Backdraft: some rooms are backdraft rooms. They cause a backdraft from a door that was opened or a window that was broken and engulf the room in fire. Backdrafts can be avoided by breaking the door down or ventilating the room at the highest point.

I would like more realism and traffic that will go around an emergency vehicle when there's one in their way. Rather than clogging up traffic on the whole map

I agree with Chris on the fact that the AI needs to be improved, I've seen even the emergency units responding on the DEFAULT MAP go backwards down a road, up, around and all different sorts of ways to respond, I hope the Ais are improved and are a lot more "smart".

- More buildings that alow entry
- False alarms
- More car accidents and some at major intersections
- Bigger map
- Traffic comes from both sides of the road and not just one side and pulls over for emergency vehicles

More realistic/interresting multiplayer mode

one commander inside the coordination center who recieves 911 calls with dialog options like in an RPG (picked dialog options will influence the call e.g. when there's a jumper on a roof) and alarms other vehicles/stations (assignes calls to diffrent players). This guy is also responsible to process requests of other players (e.g. if a police officer needs EMS on his location)

All other players command a predefined set of vehicles and persons (e.g. one or two firestations, EMS or Police).

This will only work if there is a limited viewing distance for all units (You only know the information given by the civilian who dialed 911, you can't send the required amount of ambulance and technical halp right away) and a bigger map (it doesn't have to be visible in it's full glory all the time)

And all you've said before (supply lines, limited water supply, better graphics and proportions, buildings with multiple stores (which can be entered without a ladder!!!), paramedics who can break windows and doors (yeah, they do that in reality), Paramedics who are real paramedics (both can treat patients and get a stryker), realistic mass casualty-units (tents, a lot of pramedics, ...), ...

AND an multiple modes from aracarde to realistic as sh*** so i can get all those CoD playing kids to play it.
Please be merciful regarding typos, I'm not a native speaker.

  • If the Head is more than 20 cm away from the body the person must be pronounced dead
  • When reaching the top of a tree the soldier must stop climbing independently.
  • If water reaches the chest the soldier has to start swimming independently.

Biggest thing I want:

FULLY Documented Scripting API

It's nice to be able to mod, but having an undocumented scripting language to work with is quite a barrier to modding.

I would also like stretcher-less patients. Also, cars like the NEF have no true usage. It's just as easy to respond with a stretcher equipped ambulance, so patients needing only treatment would be good.

Also, better looking units. The vehicles are terribly futuristic, and the units are full of disgusting reflections and weird bulky models!

I was reading through and hoping someone would mention this lol. The path finding is horrid at times and vehicles sometimes dont even try and fit through places you know they obviously can.

Police- Proper breaching tactics (instead of just sending a swat guy with a flash grenade and he gets shot)

I have that other game. There are elements of it that are very fun. A freeplay version would be great.

Who said anything about wanting a simulator? I just want realistic real time strategy. This series is just too easy. Even on the toughest levels. To me, firefighting is more than just pulling up and flowing water. There is no real strategy to this game. Implementing some of what we actually do, will make this game harder, and IMO that equals more fun to play. Do I want to have to walk the water out of the hose or strip a burnt out room down to the studs? No. Should I have to secure a water source and hit the seat of the fire? Absolutely.

I believe that this game would be an outstanding mutiplayer game if done right. I have been playing some Arma III, and the teamwork aspect of that game is outstanding. I would like to see an evolved version, not just a new version of the same old thing.

(A bit off topic) Do you run this on windows 7? I cant get it to run :(

I agree. I wanted to start modding but there was barely any documentation. The only one I found was in German and incomplete.

It would be really nice if they had official documentation that explained everything in detail.

I would like to see all of these. In single player or campaign more missions that are happening daily. yea like crane falling or train crashes in em4. would love to see-

     Roundabouts

     Airplane Missions

     Large Stripmall type fires

Larger Map with outlying areas suck as small subdivisions with limited water or resources

Multiplayer-

Many diffirent maps maybe minimum of 3 to choose from

Be able to chat with other players without mics

Have an airport accessable and be able to put a station on it for fire department

Depending on map size minimum of 2 fire stations with diffirent apparatus inside. (we can pick which ones we want in them)

More incidents such as active shooters, bombings, wildfires (la mod)

   Other-

Pre-Mission Cutscene: A sattelite scans the globe for emergencies, zooming first on the continent, then country, then city, then opening up a video of the incident before the briefing. For the first mission cutscene, in which a wedding ceremony in a church is crashed when a drunk driver crashes through the doors and into the bride and groom, and a bystander makes a call on his cellphone, dialing the emergency number. The dialing on phone only happens in the first cutscene.

Waypoints: set waypoints for better pathfinding

Active Civilians: some civilians will be active and helpful, they may use fire extinguishers against fires (not as effective as a firefighter but still helps), applying first aid on casualties (improves victim's condition more slowly than medical crew), and carrying victims to a more safe place (slower than firefighter). This add a bit of realism to the game as some civilians are willing to risk their lives to save others. In the first mission, as you enter the church, a civilian is using a fire extinguisher on the burning car.

I would like to see a lot of features added back from Emergency: Firefighters for life.
Such as:
-Mass casualty incidents (In missions like the Bomb at the office or the air show crash where 60+ people are injured)
-Having to transport severely injured people by helicopter
-Escorts(Refs: Peaceful protest mission and Stadium security, Nuclear waste transport)
-Having different vehicles from other areas.
-multilevel buildings where people can be killed by being in the building to long (eg: Christmas Tree fire)
______________________________________

-Detour signs for wrecks
-Civilians Directing traffic or diverting, till police are on scene
- The ability to hook fire trucks up to hydrants
-Water pumps to drain water from the roads.
-Roads being damaged to the point of closure.
-AI's Stopping when they see an accident.
-Gunman not wasting bullets on cars
-Cops using their car as cover
-Flashbacks and back drafts
-Objects in side houses exploding (gas ovens)
-The ability to hear calls from eye-witnesses panicking about an incident.
-Fire extinguishers running out of their chemical compound.
-Give cops fire extinguishers (Most cops have them in their trucks (lol, once had an oven fire))
-Fatigue(Physical and emotional)
-Pipe line explosions
-Off switches for gas or power
-Chemical fires require more than traditional water(fire retardants, sand, ect..)
-The ability to select your own units you use in the campaign. (unlock system like firefighters for life)
-Updated stretcher (from cots to more modern urban emergencies.)
_________________________________________________

Multiplayer

-VOIP
-Text Chat in lobby
-Patches to fix bugs (backwards police man)
-Variety in scenarios
-Real time map changes (say you don't get to a fire in time the building with burn down and have to be rebuilt)
-The ability to control  military units during natural disaster (in addition to government funding)
-Citizens should become upset of mission failures.
-Tell people what ports need to be open for multiplayer
_______________________________________________________
EDIT:
-AI don't walk into burning buildings.
-Concert riots
-Drug deals being stopped
-The Ability to add stings.
-Coast Guard Units (i.e. cutters dingys)
-Boating Accidents
-Swimmers drowning
-Shark attacks
-Oil Spills
-Sewage pipes breaking and contaminating people
-Having festivals in Game
-Having  different fire stations
-mudslides
-domestic disputes(I.E. arguments, allowing someone to get items that they own in the house.)
