Guys, I do not think this mod is still operational. I just hope they put out an update soon.

OK, the last actual update to this was way back in January, and Rafael (the original author) hasn't posted since then. I'm going to lock it for now, and if anyone in the original team has any updates, PM one of the staff and we'll reopen it for you.

This last week has been full of surprises relating to Chicago Fire! First the Season 3 Episode 1, I'll just say I didn't see what happened coming & today Rafaell surprised us with cool new model of 6-8-7 the scuba unit.

The show actually purchased a used engine from a seperate department so they can use it for the show and i believe it's that one that's flipped

I hope its not badly damaged, it would be a terrible waste. So many volly departments are saving lives with trucks that are worse than the trucks they use for TV shows.

It looks like they just take a crane and put it on its side... We'll probably see that rig in action in the skow

They use trucks from the CFD reserve fleet. There are pictures of the rescue being used as a squad on the front lines during a break in filming Filling in for a squad that was in the shop.

Just a reminder The Show just replaced Rescue 3 late last season (Season 2) with their owned Squad from an local Illinois FD & the Overturned Truck is just a cab & chassis, that was purchased from a Fire Apparatus Dealer from Alabama.  The Overturned Truck was an Engine/Pumper but the Show had the Pumper Body removed for the show.
