Hey guys! Me and the team just recently started working on this again. This submod is just gonna add the new units the LAFD and LAPD has acquired over the past few years. I WILL be releasing this to the public when it's finished. Keep in mind everything is still WIP. Thanks!

thank god for someone using a dodge ambu instead of the same recycled shi* over and over. the e550 from other mods is an eyesore. excellent work! Engine89LAFD. Itchboy's models are always impressive

The ambulance looks great. Night screenshots would to the lights justice IMO. Hopefully since I've released a "blank" version on this site, I should start seeing more of these in other mods too. A little thing I noticed though. It appears that the model I sent you has a little texture glitch around the point where the windsheild meets the hood. PM me for the fix.

If you like the truck to look a bit more modern make the front bumper bigger...just a suggestion. good work.

The bumper is accurate to the real lafd engine. lfde56-99.jpg

That's a tiny little bumper, almost defeats the purpose one would think.

I am actually surprised that they didn't put a trash line in... but maybe they want maneuverability during rush hour.

I wanted to share with the Dev. Team of some pictures that I thought would be helpful for your Mod

Tiller and KME look great. I am genuinely intrigued to see what your take of LAFD/LAPD/LASD/LaCoFD will look like. Though I would cut down some of the polygons on places like wheel arches, the models by themselves look promising and are pretty close to the real vehicles. Hope to see more soon.

- Sincerely, from a disappointment and a failure. Maybe I can do better in the future.

A question, how many polygons is the model?

Not too bad considering others use heavier models. How many textures does it use and what are their resolutions?

And it's gonna go down. I'm gonna decimate it in the morning. Uses 2 at 72 pixels/inch

How effective is the decimate tool in Blender? I'd like to know of its effectiveness should I decide to make the change from Zmod to Blender. I would like some clarification on the 72 pixels per inch, is it 1024 or 512 for example?

How effective is the decimate tool in Blender?

Sometimes it will have problems with certain models but I use it all the time and find it pretty effective, think I got a 1,500 poly EM4 model down to 800 once without it deforming that much.
