For the members that didn't notice anything from the past weeks.

The mainsite is down due to an attack on our server. Due to a leak in an un-updated version of Joomla! unknown people send out 1,5 million spam e-mail through our mail server. The used e-mail address was patriot@emergency-planet.com.

Our research brought us to members of gun owners websites so our guess is that the "hackers" used the e-mail addresses stolen from their databases to send spam. 700.000 e-mails where actually deleted by me before sending out so unfortunately still 800.000 e-mails reached their destination.

The information we where able to gather about the actual attack has been forwarded to the FBI/Europol since the content that was send out was actually a bit more then spam.

For the members that wish to read the mail, feel free to google patriot@emergency-planet.com

Therefore we decided to shutdown the mainsite and to buy an extra add-on for the forum which you can currently find under "Pages" at the top. The user Dakota will help us to merge the information from Joomla! to the forum.

If you find dead links, broken forum posts, missing things or bugs please report it bellow this post.

Haha their manifesto is a bit retarded to say the least, it's as if they don't know what they're pissed off about but they want to hold the government to ransom anyway.

Ha! That's gotta be the weirdest manifesto I've read in a while.

I mean, there's the usual communist/anarchist/pacifist bullshit that has been in every "revolutionary" manifesto that has been penned since angry people started penning manifestos, and which makes you go "yeah, yeah, whatever..." - but then the God/bible quotes part is just plain creepy. Oh and of course the "murder everyone" part. Yeah...

Basically, it means there's a communo-anarchist murderous Jesus freak hacker out there somewhere. Didn't even think that was possible. Which makes me think it could also be trolling, albeit on a massive scale...

I hope this gets on mainstream news at some point. I can't wait to see the FBI raid a shitty suburban home or a basement appartment and emerge with whatever deranged weirdo/attention-seeking troll who sent that thing out.

Haha nope they wont, it will likely be dealt with by the FBI under cyber-terrorism, but I'm no expert as I am over in the UK, but it's certainly not an assassination attempt ;)

Glad to help out.

I wouldn't worry too much about the hacker/spammer , most of the addresses and phone numbers are public knowledge anyhow as they're politicians and if he's anyone with any real threat they'll put some effort into finding him.

I wasn't aware that the Westboro Baptist Church knew anything about computers...

IS it bad that as soon as I read this, the first thing I did was haul out a bible and a biblical history site to fact check what he said, and show how he's wrong?

I must say, I was a bit confused at first. For a moment I thought I was reading about the first attack, than I saw the date, and re-read the post and realized I wasn't. It didn't get really good until I read that email he/she sent out. The only thing I see problematic; besides the email itself, is the fact of who it was sent too. This world is already unstable so this might be the spark to get someone to do something crazy. I dunno if the FBI will or wont do anything, I'm sure they'll "investigate". If something does happen, which I hope doesn't, than I'm sure the FBI will go after this person. However, I do agree with the majority it would be nice to see them haul this creepy weird-o out of whatever basement their hiding it.

I find it funny the bible reference he used about demanding that the enemies be brought to him and killed, it's made to look as if it's an order from god, but it's actually a parable about some crazy-ass king, who needs to be avoided.

I'm thinking all the emails on the list came from some sorta public database on guns, or like a gun petition, a lot of people have gotten them, especially from .mil addresses, ones they don't use for websites. Oh well, I'm sure the FBI is all over this weirdo, and he's been moved from the watchlist, to a much shorter, nutcase post-it

"FBI surveillance van #23" is listed as my available Wi-Fi connections. Should I be worried?
