Moving Emergency 4 LA Mod Models into Emergency 3 LA Mod?

I recently lost my copy of Emrgency 4 because of the Direct2Drive merger, and this might sound incredibly stupid but, is it at all possible to use Emergency 4 models to replace ones from Emergency 3? Specifically I'd like to use The Emergency 4 LA mod engine and Foam Tender to replace the one's in the Emergency 3 version of the mod. Sorry if this sounds wrong or idiotic.

Direct2Drive is being transfered over to Gamefly now. As far as I know they are still merging the games from Direct2Drive.
