i want to make a small town mod. Like a volunteer fire dept. this mod i want to make would be just fire stuff and some ems. no police stuff. is there anyway that i can do this? if so what all do i need to make it (how do i make the redskins and stuff), im new to this so i need all the help i can get. what all do i need to create this stuff?

get started by reading some of the tutorials on the forum. You'll need a texture editing program like paint.net or Photoshop (MS paint can work too, but it's simplistic), and willpower. If you want to get into modelling google Gmax and download from Turbosquid. Watch tutorials on youtube. These things take time, patience and planning so be careful.
