*sorry for the double post but it won't let me add pictures to an old post*

Here's the new Burnaby Fire Department Engine 5

dkfhsadghadkghk, MOTHER OF GOD... AMAZING.

Sorry, had a seizure from all of the awesomeness. That's incredible, just like the real thing. The only thing I'd change is the two rotators in the rear. The real ones are a little more boxy.

Here's some of my photos of Engine 5. And I'll show you one of the rear lights, they seem too tall and round to me.

http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ FRONT
http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ LADDER 5, SAME REAR ROTATORS
http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ ENGINE 5, REAR

Sorry for the distancing, best photos I could've taken. I'll try to find one of my youtube vids...

(Not my video)

They do in fact light up like LED's, however I think LADDER 4 has halogen rotators. Not 100% sure, but there they are. Maybe I'm just being a perfectionist but that's amazing, honestly.

UPDATE: I believe that they switched trucks or something. The Engine 5 rotators are HALOGEN, not LED. BFD is always switching their trucks around and stuff. So your model is accurate, as always. It's just the two rotators look a little too bubbly to me.

Epic work, sorry for the huge post! :12:

It's a lot less now (polys and coronas) than the previous versions we had,CFD has a better placement technique so it will be more pc friendly.

Well that is great to hear! And the new engine looks great by the way. Very good skin and I still love those wheels lol. Did you get my PM?

Is this mod going to be as graphic intense as the Manhattan mod?

Also Supporting: RCMP mod, Stillwater mod, Lampard mod, Ravenna sub-mod,  Rockport mod.

Looking at the detail of the units and lights maybe, but the main thing that was graphic intense about our mod was the map.

I think a blue light on the upper left corner would look great, it would break up the intense red a light.

actually goog has been able to play it on his lap top with minumal lag as long as you send what you NEED to the call.

what I believe is the issue with the Manhattan mod is the hugely insane amount of buildings that are nearly over four stories and tightly packed together thats why you seem to get a lot of CTDs.

The Surrey map shouldn't have so many buildings spaced so close together because canada hasn't come to that yet, in some districts they have a bylaw that stats you have to have a min of 7 feet from your building to the edge of your property line on both sides of the building for residental. I am not sure what it is for commerical but I know that they have a almost 10% green space for the size of your lot or something like that.

anyhow.... I don't think it will be to bad.

I've had multiple units in game and no problems, none of my pc's new to old dislike the mod yet.

I re-did a few things on the Burnaby rig,I added a new and correct ladder support bracket and I did a number on the flasher/rotator combos...they look much better now.Oh and I added a brand new ladder to the fleet, she's a beauty.

I made a minor but visually huge change to the Surrey engines,I added the correct back bump-outs and moved the combo flasher/rotator to the top of that spot and extended the back bumper to accomodate the changes. Here's a couple close ups of the new changed engine...(I still have to add the green chevrons to the back bump-outs then she's golden)
