Kind of. Each squad has three trucks, two of the light rescues on the super duty chassis (REPs) and on heavy rescue on the mack chassis. The two REPS patrol the squads coverage area with two detectives each and the mack stays at the station until needed and responds with two detectives and the squad sergeant.people need to learn how to wait

NYPD has two types of detectives. The first is detective investigator, which is what most people think of when they think of detectives, who actually investigate crimes. The second type is detective specialist, which is essentially a corporal in any other department. They have specialized skills and training that regular officers don't have, and are assigned to units such as ESU, bomb squad, aviation, or CSU.by detectives do you mean swat like units or actual detectives because i thought ess was the nypd's swat units not there detectives/investigation unit
please note that i dont know much about nypd

First of all that picture is when the boat, helicopter or plane crashed in river or not and omg im glad im not you or maybe i do lol
I have literally no idea what you just said xD
I'm planning to have 4 levels of officers in the mod but I need help narrowing what each should be able to do.
1. Inspector - highest in the mod, only one can be spawned, already in precinct on startup, can call additional units (detectives etc) that others can't. Also wears white and no cap.
2. Sergeant - Can be spawned from off map in a patrol car - but what extras can they have?
3. Regular officer (Gun, call extra PD etc)
4. Auxiliary (Unarmed)

sounds good to me and for a patch or something you should have the Hudson river plane crash:P

Or maybe they can be slightly better, eg. run a bit faster/bit more health etc.

thanks for clearing that up
i have a question about the mod in the mod will the running amok calls be the same or will they actually try to shoot at cops/people instead of cars because that gets slightly annoying.
im not asking you to change anything im just wondering.
