little italy is a good Idea but im trying to finish Chinatown texturing before anything.

I finished all the models and layed them out in the way I think would look nice. Ill see if Dyson is up for editing the freeplay map. The people who werent quick enough to see the screens are just gonna have to wait till we post in game ones

Great find, and yes expect many fires like that.
I've only played the mod a little so far, but I did have big fires like that

Theres goin to be alot of buildings on the map so just think of manhattan as extra flamable haha at this point i am working on textures 2 out of 5 are complete

Fires in freeplay are random man big fires come when you least expect them like in real life

What would be great is if you can get firefighters with hoses to enter buildings. That would make rescues more realistic.

I said there WILL be big fires, but I'm going to do some trial and error to stop the fires spreading to fast, making cars and certain buildings immune to fire, that way the whole neighbourhood wont go up in 5 seconds.
Secondly, there will be some new enterable buildings, but to make every building enterable would take far too long. However we are intending to make highrise packs to replace the coiled firehouse for a more authentic feel

Yeahyeah, these mint new models are part of a huge overhaul in the submod, however this does mean release will be delayed considerably, but I think you'll all appreciate our attention to details over getting the mod quickly out anyway let's try and get this topic back interesting, it's been dead for the past few weeks!

I forgot to mention that the new sirens contribute much to the atmosphere in New York, also are the best sirens/horns I've ever heard.

Haha yeah I did the ones in the new video myself for testing but I found a scripter who has already scripted the manual siren script with different options such as :

Wail Yelp and Airhorn I also echo the sounds so it sounds like its in the streets
