Ohh. Two police stations then. Thanks :P

I have an idea with the FBI base.

- It would be the home to SWAT or other special services too
- The barrier would be functional
- Instructions would be included in the mod's readme on changing scripts/virtual boxes to make new parking spaces or edit existing ones

Just some ideas. Likey?
LOL

Groovy -

There are quite a few excellent uk mods out there, but when this was started, no fdny mods existed. The allure to fdny is the same as the allure to being a movie star - they're the best known and percieved by many as the best.

As for precincts, the nypd divides its coverage areas into zones or wards. These wards all have a station. A station and the area it serves are a precinct. Not unlike a fire station and their district.

Dyson, great work, I can't wait to enjoy this. the fdny mod is good, but lacking in some areas. While this might "only" be a submod, I think it will have far superior gameplay.

Yeah, just gonna have to start again with the engines :/ but yeah, oh and another shout out to any other modelers interested in helping out, any modelers that help with the game will recieve advance versions of the submod months before release as do all the other active members of my submod :)

I am checking with staff while we speak (which I have been doing for a day or two) if I am allowed to offer a founder of a modification it's own information website, much better but similar to the LA Mod website, Including Bug Trackers, File Management Systems, Form Management Systems, A small forum specifically for discussion on that mod (containing adverts and links back to emergency planet), A Ticket System, Live Chat System, Poll System, Statistics System, Donation pages, Webmail (such as contact@losangelesmod.com), Wikis and a few small extras I won't mention here for exclusivity issues, all handled efficiently and everything managed with the client getting access rights. IF I am allowed to go ahead with offering such on this forum, are you interested Dyson?

Minor detail, but the sign reads "Trauma Centre". Slight oversight, I'm sure, but it should read "Trauma Center", since we spell everything all screwy over here.

I will see if I am allowed to offer such things and if I can, I will make a post about it. It will contain all the information.

As for the preview, are those ambulances in Virtual Object Parking Spots?
LOL

Yep,private ambulance, just so you don't have 4 FDNY ambulances at a scene, instead you can have a mix of a few, think I'll have more than just the one private ambulance :)

Modeling and reskinning are still rather new fields of interest for me, and I know their are multiple ways to create a unit. With that said I have noticed a few small differences from your models to those of the New York Mod, most being the clarity. I would assume this has to do with what program you use, and how the images are placed. But the units in the New York Mod seem to be dull and semi-blurry. Where as yours seem to be more vibrant, and clearer in imagine.

Either way a NY Mod not based on Manhattan and surrounding areas sounds better, why not Brooklyn? Besides every mod needs a reason for it's existence so here's one for yours. In 2004 the FX television series Rescue Me was first aired. It's main character Tommy Gavin (Dennis Leary) portraits a New York Fire Fighter on Ladder 62, a fire house located in Brooklyn.

Ladder 62 / Engine 99 are fictional for anyone wondering, I just thought this might be something useful to post. I once remember you asking for a reason to continue. I gave you that answer: do it for the community. Which you have, and I am thoroughly impressed by your progress. CFD doing the lights, and a beta stage on the way, can't ask for more then that. Besides, if a TV company is doing something based on Brooklyn you know you can't go wrong :P

On another note; NICE! pictures I like the FBI station, and the gate lol.

PS: If you find yourself in need of help / test / etc let me know

Back on track though ... Looking good. I'm very surprised to see CFD and a beta stage on the way. Both are very very very good choices. So, do let me know how things go.

Oh, yes and one more thing if you need beta testers or help let me know. If not or you have more then enough people I understand :P
