OK. When i start ModInstaller it says,"911 First Responders wasn't properly installed. Please re-install.". I re-installed it twice and I get the same error. I even did the registry fix and it still doesn't work. I'm just having a problem with the ModInstaller. Thats it. If I fix that, my problems are solved.

Hi everyone!
I need your help to edit scrip file.

 

I want to remove the "Engine17" in the Fire Station 2, and replace it by "Engine 1" as in the original version of the mod LA.

I can bring up the vehicle without problem in the Station, the goal is problem with the "LAToFireStation.script." I do not find how to turn the Engine 1 to the FS1 bug ...

 

I would also still in the FS2, replace amblance by the rescue team (USAR) and put the ambulance instead of Brush patrol.
I am confronted with the same problem.

It would be very nice to have an answer, and maybe help. Thank you! :holdglass:

Hi everyone!
I need your help to edit scrip file.

Because I have given so many tutorials in the alterations topic of different ways to do things and I believe I have given a tutorial for each of what you wanted to do, I ask for you to check that topic out.

For Question #1: Did you already do the extra scripting to allow Engine 1 to go to either station like in the original mod? If not, you need to do that first. If you have already did the extra work, then all you need to do is change the direction to either Engine05 or Engine17, whatever the virtual object is for that bay. I can't remember which Xplorer used for that slot but can double check tomorrow morning when I get home.

 

For Question #2 Part 1: Once again, since there is a USAR in FS1, you would have to the extra scripting to allow it to go to either station when returning to station and then set the FS2 direction to ambulance04 or whatever the virtual object is for the ambulance slot in that station.

For Question #2 Part 2: This one is the easiest one to do. All you need to do is follow the basic alterations from the topic replacing one vehicle. Just leave brush in the direction so it will face the opposite direction.

I'm surprised there is no video on Youtube showing how to replace vehicles so I'm going to start working on a tutorial video to do that since it is probably easier seeing than reading step by step.

In fact I have watched the tutorial to replace a vehicle in a Fire Station. However it may be possible that I made a mistake because of the language barrier.

If you have any issues, just post them to that topic and either myself or someone else who knows the scripts will get back to you on a fix. Make sure you make a backup and use trial & error to solve your bugs.

Looks like it has been removed but the mod is the same, just an updated patch of the bugs. YSB just made some changes & fixed some previous bugs which are probably now fixed with the new update.

Well, I apologize for bringing yet another download question to you. I've been through the thread, you get a lot of them.

 

Anyways, I've been going to the website you've linked in the original post, and pretty much every website used throughout the thread, to download this. Every time I go to your page, it tells me that the file is not available and to try again later. Now, I've tried over a course of days and weeks, so I'm not sure why it's always unavailable. I am using the correct button, I believe, and am at a loss for what to do.

 

Again, apologies for another one, but I'm stumped. Thank you for your help.

I can't get my police cars to chase criminals. The "chase" button has a grey "No" sign over it( O with \ in it). I tried Impala,Charger,Crown Victoria...An SUV...But the normal LA mod is ok..

 

 

go to 911 fr editor than choose LA 4X4 Mod than scene than choose vehicle you have trouble with and than edit and than command and add the Follow and then save for the vehicles that don't chase.

 

Is there any other way to get this to work? I never used the editor and do not have any experience with editing.

 

Just downloaded this mod. Always played with the original LA mod. But its realy nice!.

Maybe down the line but 2.1 didn't really add anything you would notice in game. 2.1 was mostly some minor changes in a few scripts for better performance but nothing would make the mod playable to people who couldn't play before. If you can play stock LA mod you should be able to play this other then the lighting might slow down some peoples computers.

In free play mode you can do to be able to use all the tools. such as border patrol does not appear. ford taurus and so does not appear in the vehicle.

Check your internet and try again. Works fine for me.

 

Download sites like to throw fits for some odd reason. A lot of mods have issues with it.
