It's working for me. There are only two lines added to the code there. Make sure that's the only change from the old code to the new code.

If I don't hear from Xplorer soon I'm going to post my files to the private mods forum as long as I don't hear an objection.

Enjoy!

Yep, exactly 2 lines and the error is on the parking lot found lines. I guess I'll have to do some looking because I know I didn't modify anything.

I could not find a solution to the intersection when an emergency vehicle cross's by the Hotel. The vehicle just keeps on going back and forth for a few moments and than it finally proceeds to its destination. Please, if there is a file that I need, PM me.

Also I decided that I wanted to bring back the Water-Tender and LEV Rescue and I managed to get the sirens back for both vehicles. But can't get the fire fighter to hook his hose to the Water-Tender. Help me please.....LOL

I posted the files to the private mods forum but the forum moderators requested that I take them down until I hear from Xplorer.

Xplorer, my intention here was just to help you out. To actually fix the problems I found instead of just complaining about them. If I over-stepped my boundaries here I sincerely apologize. My offer to help still stands. I'll be waiting patiently for your response.

To everyone else, sorry, I tried. I love this game and this mod as much as you do and I'd love to be able to help improve your gaming experience here. Rules are rules though and I'm not going to fight them or complain about them. Unless Xplorer gives his OK the files are down and will stay down. Please do not PM me asking for the files. If they are approved, they'll be posted. If not, you'll have to wait for Xplorer's next update. Sorry! :nein:

It is something about automatic variable parking lot found is allocated.

** I got the errors fixed and maybe the parking fixed to, it was my mistake I think on that script and I think I have it fixed but I'll check it out later, I have been spending 45 minutes just overlooking it and found a couple mistakes that I fixed so hopefully it fixes it next time I play. ** Thanks.

Hey Xplorer,

I don't get to play as much as I want because I still get the problem that I posted a while back (not related to the mod or sub-mod). I love how the paramedics can heal by putting down the strecther, and how they can place a tarp over the deceased. I find that the accident near the tire shop is really a test of your skills. Love the mod. :holdglass:

He hasn't been once since Oct 16th, so it doesn't look like he'll be around anytime soon. Your updates look good, I see no reason why he wouldn't allow you to publish what you found since he said he was basically "done" with this mod, and started work on another one.

Edit: and of course now he shows up ROFL ...

If you want to help send me the patched files only, so I can put them up as a bug fix release, Then you can release the other files with additional features separately as a submod.

Please DO NOT PM ME for help. Ask your questions on the forum to help others with the same issue.

Here's a status update for anyone who's interested.

A copy of the files as they are now has been sent to Xplorer for review. I'm working on a package that has only fixes with none of my personal changes and I'll send that when it's ready.

Once again, please do not PM me for the files. I will ignore the request. If the files are approved they will be posted. If not, I'm not going to email them to you either so please don't ask.

Cheers! :holdglass:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update!

A fix-only package has been produced and sent to Xplorer4x4 for review. Of the 22 items I listed in the Private Mod forum his package contains 12 plus another two. I fixed up pathing around FS1 to prevent the detours that some of the vehicles were taking and cosres, you'll be glad to know that I (think I) fixed the problem at the intersection by the hotel.

Now we wait for Xplorer to either approve it :gut: or send me packing :raucher:.

Wish me luck! Cheers!

I'm actually not 100% sure. I think it had to do with the amount of normal traffic at that intersection blocking the 'street' that was recognized by the emergency vehicles (the internal street in the editor of course, not what you see as the street). My theory is that the vehicles for some reason thought that the path was blocked causing them to seek out a new route even though there was plenty of room to go through. This may have been combined with some other factors that made it hard for the vehicles to find a clear path on the 'street.' I made a second, wider street that makes use of the outer lanes through the intersection. Now, if a path is blocked, instead of crossing the yellow line and going into the back/forth thing, the vehicles just use the outer lanes to bypass the obstruction. In a few hours worth of testing it seemed to do the trick. I don't know if I played long enough to verify it though. We'll have to see. When I get to re-load my personal mod I'll put that fix there as well and see what happens.

Stay tuned!

Sounds great, can't wait to see if it worked. It usually happens 3/5 times for me. It is a problem on both Xplorer's mod and Hoppah's mod from what I can tell.

They are there, they are just not marked on the map. The port police dept. is in the docks on the NW corner of map (you will see a helipad) and you can park 2 port police cars there I think. The Sheriff's Dept. is on the NE corner of the map on the top of the cliff. You will see a house and a open parking lot. You can park at least 2 Sheriff cars there.

Just been browsing this topic and couldnt find any of the problmes i am experiencing:

When the alarm sounds at FS1, men run out into the car park at the bacm but just stay there and wont go into any vehicles or anything.

Secondly, the rescue ambulance, rescue 7, wont allow paramedics to go in it. As well as stretchers not being available from it either.

Other than that, I LOVE THIS SUBMOD lol. Changed my Emergency 4 life.

Thanks

These have both been discussed before.

I forget the fix (If there is one) for the first problem.

As for the second problem, that's because Rescue 7 is a Rescue truck, not an ambulance.
