Yeah, it's a European thing I think, we have metal mesh shields which we can pull down over the windscreen to protect it.

Fire fighters (Bombers), city police (Guàrdia Urbana) from Barcelona, Catalonia police (Mossos d'Esquadra) and Catalonia ambulance service SEM 061 responding to a building (apartment) fire.
Arrived at the scene are light pump/pumper B-114, heavy pump/pumper truck B-315, heavy ladder/turn ladder E-18 and ambulance unit S-22. Also responding are four city police patrol cars and a van, two Catalonia police patrol cars and an ambulance of the Catalonia SEM 061 service.
The apartment is fully engulfed but without mortal victims or wounded.
