As seeing that NFK's swingin the banhammer. Bail out b4 it's too late!!! NOO!!!!! :flagwave:

FWF TUT & the team said they were keeping things a secret, and what they choose to reveal is on the first page, as explained a page back. :loldev: This question was also asked. A page back. :loldev: So, just keep watching the page, and they will release info if and when they see fit, so don't worry about it  things will be revealed in time. They be workin hard, in rl and on the mod, so no worries :gut:

P.S, I'm definitely not a moderator, but just saying, these question posts are becoming unoriginal, just look at the first page, admire the detail put into each model, and try to learn a bit from it :verweis: , it's much more productive than asking the same questions page after page  :danke:

Did you guys use an MS4000 for the ambulance siren? That's the one they use. You don't have to answer if you don't want to.

Wow. But look, no matter how far you run, I can get you. There is a right way to post, and a wrong way, and considering I said I'd ban whoever posted the wrong way, I'll be nice and just I might consider not even suspending you. You aren't a moderator, don't play one, and this isn't a cartoon, so stop using crazy amounts of emotes. Next post with this many from you will get you a suspension, got it?
Offtopic is bad, so is playing moderator with emote abuse. I will let you go with just a warning, considering this wasn't completely off topic, however if you comment, you get your suspension. Same goes to everyone. And the same goes for emote abuse.

it would be cool if their was a couple of diffrent siren for each vehicle that you could click on an icon and diffrent types of sirens would play in the mod.

for example:

if you go on youtube and use the web address, listen to the diffrent sirens to hear
what i mean. :)

I think they said that they were going to implement that. (The siren thing) Also, the FDNY siren (I believe) is a 12v PA-300. Not a regular one.

A few companies have the reqular mechanical q siren, and all of the new rigs are being delivered with the EQ2B siren, which is an electronic Q.

FDNY does not use Opticoms. The system costs cities a few thousand dollars per traffic light. Also around $1,000 per vehicle. So fiscally is not worth it for most large cities.

Why does it even exist then at those grossly inflated rates?

Becasue it's good to use at some crazy intersections... 15000 is less than a 150000 truck that got wrecked..

It just doesn't seem to need to be that expensive. I mean I could see the truck unit costing a pretty penny, but I would think per light would be much cheaper.

I've not really had much interest in the American mods, there are so many submods out there to compliment the LA Mod that it has taken my interest off them. Your mod seems to be completely different though, the level of detail and the effort put into the mod has really pulled me in, for example, the fire fighters and the equipment has really made me surprised me and now I can't wait to try out this mod.

Excellent work guys, you are one of few who have kept emergency 4 alive in my opinion!

The mod is looking great guys. I'll come back to EM4 when it's released. =)

Why not just delete incessant and irrelevant posts? The senseless spam is annoying enough without all the moderators commenting.

That's already been done before, but let's focus on the mod. About the siren thing, somewhere in the NY MOD topic(s), there's something about choosing the sirens. They had a screenshot or something and said there would be something like it I think.
