hello, I finally found a local store that had emergency 3.

I get to finish mission one, but as mission 2 is loading, it says it has encountered a problem with em3.exe. I have a laptop with an ati radeon 200M graphics card and i cant find any driver updates. Can someone please help me, I have been waiting a long time to play this game.

Could you post your logfile here, it's located in your main folder of Emergency 3 and goes by the name of 'logfile.txt'. Post the entire file here, with the code command (see above).

I tried looking for an update for my graphics card, but can't find anything, the ati website isnt the easiest place to find thing.

=> Select operating system
=> Select graphic card
=> download ATi Catalyst control center

I've already got the Catalyst control center..So that cant be the problem.

You said you have problems when loading mission 2, but your logfile says something about freeplay.
Sometimes, Emergency 3 has problems with loading missions after freeplay (and v.v.).
So, restart Emergency 3 and load mission 2.

I guess your Emergency 3 install is corrupt... you're missing animations as well as models. Try installing Emergency 3 in a different map and install the patch 1.3. See if it works, if not you have a corrupt cd. If it does work, your installation is corrupt.

what do you mean a different map? Sorry if thats a dumb question. and is patch 1.3 for the english version?

If you have installed Emergency 3 in C:/map1/, try installing it in C:/map2/.

We have an official patch 1.3 for German only, and we have an unofficial patch for the English game.

It does mean that. Use the "Durchsuchen" button to go to your cd and click the optgraph.dll file to select it. That should work.

well i uninstalled and reinstalled, and so far, so good. I have made it to mission 4 without an error. Thanks for the help!
