Perhaps you could make a contact staff email or something so people could still get help but spambots would not intrude.

That won't be necessary, I think we've got the situation under control. The only spambot activity I noticed today was from bots that had already registered before I set up the new email restrictions. Just a matter of catching those stragglers now...
